Height: 15-20 m high
Winter buds: purple colour, oval shaped with a curved tip, covered in grey hairs.
Leaves: compound, 5-9 pairs of toothed leaflets with a single leaflet at the end of the leaf.
Flowers: male and female flowers are creamy white and clustered in dense heads.
Fruit: red orange berries clustered on dense heads.
Distribution: widespread, and planted in streets, parks and gardens.
